mixed feelings at Cliff Bay
slow service inconsistent housekeeping
The experience began well, but some aspects were disappointing. i found the lack of attentiveness in the service to be noticeable. waiting times for drinks felt longer than should be. housekeeping could have been more consistent. A couple of days, things were missed.

average afternoon tea tea bag
the room was clean upon arrival.
afternoon tea was average. i expected more for the price. the sandwiches lacked variety, and the tea was just from a tea bag. we weren't offered refills, so i probably won't do that again.

Excellent Cliffside Hotel
good gardens immaculate pool helpful staff
The gardens are a delight to walk around, and the pool areas are immaculate. I felt secure here. Staff took my temperature often. The hotel has a strict mask policy indoors, and there is a one-way system in the busy areas. All the staff are friendly and helpful.
The afternoon tea was average (nothing special). We were not offered more food or tea. It's more expensive, but the service is excellent.

The hotel features multiple pools and direct access to the sea, offering guests options for swimming and relaxation. A classical, elegant bar with music provides a refined setting for evening entertainment. Free, enclosed parking is available who rent cars.

The hotel location is great, built into the cliffs on the south coast. It is only a 25-minute drive from the airport (it was very convenient). The hotel is close to many restaurants and services.
